As December comes to a close, and we are getting ready to embark on a new year, we wanted to take some time to reflect on the past year and everything that we’ve been able to do, as a practice, not only for the Shelby Township community but for those in need throughout our Country. As our patients, each and every one of you has helped us contribute to great organizations during 2017, and we wanted to share how your support of our practice has allowed us to give back this year. Here’s a quick look at how HPS Advanced Dental helped those in need.
Rainbow Connection Wish
Thanks to you, our practice was able to grant the wish of one child with a life-threatening illness here in Michigan. We are incredibly thankful for a successful practice, and loyal patients that allowed us to make the life of one very deserving child a bit happier this year. The Rainbow Connection is a Michigan based 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Their goal is to provide children in our Michigan communities who are fighting life-threatening illnesses with the wish of a lifetime. Wishes can be anything from meeting a special person, going someplace special or receiving a special gift. Because this charity only helps children here in Michigan, we knew that our practice would make a difference for one family in our local area.
Hurricane Relief
Hurricanes Harvey and Irma had huge impacts on communities in Texas and Florida this year. With so much damage to buildings, infrastructure, and homes, individuals living in hurricane-impacted communities throughout the south have struggled to find the basic necessities. Many people were forced out of their homes with nearly nothing, including basic necessities like toiletries, food, and water. Thanks to the great patients that help us have a successful practice, we were able to send 1000 toothbrushes to communities in Florida and Texas that were impacted by hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Athletes in Our Communities
HPS Advanced Dental understands the impact that athletic activities have on the youth in our communities. Organized sports provide youths with a sense of belonging, create a good character and give a lifelong foundation for hard work, teamwork, and leadership. This year, HPS Advanced Dental gave to a variety of local and national organizations that support youth athletics. Here in Shelby Township, we helped to support a variety of local teams including the Eisenhower Dance Team, the Romeo Varsity Hockey team, 5 Tool Travel Baseball, and Recruits Travel Baseball. We also provided support to the organization Athletes in Action, a Christian based organization that supports God-focused support for coaches and athletes, throughout the Midwest.
Here at HPS Advanced Dental, we are so grateful for our patients and a successful practice that allows us to be active and supportive members of our community. We want to thank each of our patients for their continued support of our practice and hope that we can continue to provide you with the best possible dental care in the coming year. May you and your families be blessed in 2018!
Thank You and Happy Holidays.
